KCOM has apologised to customers after hundreds reported losing their internet service on Sunday.
Hundred of people in Hull and East Yorkshire reported problems with their service, when many saying it had been down for hours. KCOM said parts of Hull and Beverley were affected, though customers also reported issues in Cottingham, Hedon, Skirlaugh and Thorngumbald.
Reports of disruption began at around 10am and at one point more than 170 people were queuing to speak to KCOM customer services. This afternoon, the firm said it was working to fix the problem.

A KCOM spokesperson said: "We are aware of a network issue that is affecting customers in parts of Hull and Beverley. Our engineers are working work hard to fix the issue and we will give further updates when we have more information.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and assure customers that we will have their service returned to normal as quickly as possible."
During the evening, KCOM said it was working to restore services as soon as possible. At 9.45pm, the company said services were company back online.
9.45pm update: A KCOM spokesperson, said: “We apologise for the service disruption earlier today that affected customers across Hull and parts of East Yorkshire. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to fix the problem and everything should be returning to normal now. If your internet is still not connecting please try restarting your router. Once again, we apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.”
