For the second week, the recycled 2018 actioner Hidden Strike, starring Jackie Chan and John Cena, finished at No. 1 among all streamed content (and English-language movies) on Netflix with 23.6 million views for the week ended Aug. 6. The German-language dystopian thriller Paradise again finished No. 2 overall (No. 1 for non-English language movies) with 15.5 million hours.
Notably, Hidden Strike and Paradise increased their viewership 7.2% and 91.3%, respectively, in the second week on the platform. The former now has 40.5 million total hours streamed, while Paradise has 30.7 million hours consumed.
Among English-language TV shows, “The Lincoln Lawyer” season two returned to the top of the chart following the release of part two with 6.7 million views, bringing its total views for the season to 23.3 million. Season one re-entered the chart at No. 6 with 2.1 million views.
The Spanish romantic-comedy limited series “A Perfect Story” led the non-English-language TV chart with 6.8 million views.

Among English-language movies, the documentaries Poisoned: The Dirty Truth About Your Food (5.1 million views) and Untold: Jake Paul the Problem Child (3.3 million views) entered the chart at No. 4 and No. 10, respectively. Returning movie charters included Happiness for Beginners at No. 2 with 13.1 million views, Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie following at No. 3 with 12.5 million views, Missing: The Lucie Blackman Case at No. 5 with 5 million views, and the Jamie Foxx mystery fantasy They Cloned Tyrone, which added 3.6 million views in its third week on the chart. 
The Polish action-thriller Soulcatcher debuted No. 2 on the non-English language chart with 11.6 million views. Other chart newbies included the Japanese black comedy Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead (6.6 million views) at No. 3, the South African action-thriller Big Nunu’s Little Heist (1.2 million views) at No. 8, the Thai comedic-thriller The Murderer (1.1 million views) at No. 9 and the Saudi-Arabian comedy Head to Head (1 million views) at No. 10.
Returning charters included the Korean sports comedy Dream (3.3 million views) at No. 4, the Mexican true-crime documentary The Lady of Silence: The Mataviejitas Murders  (2.1 million views) at No. 5, and the Spanish-language Bird Box reboot Bird Box Barcelona (1.6 million views) at No. 6.
Season two of the coming-of-age series “Heartstopper” finished No. 2 on the English-language TV chart with 6.1 million views. The documentary “How to Become a Cult Leader” debuted at No. 5 with 2.3 million views. Chart returnees included “The Witcher” season three (5.4 million views) at No. 3, “Sweet Magnolias” season three (2.9 million views) at No. 4, “Fatal Seduction” (1.9 million views) at No. 7, “Too Hot to Handle” (1.9 million views) at No. 8  and “CoComelon” (1.6 million views) at No. 10 .
Finally, Korea had three titles on the non-English language TV chart, including the romantic-comedy “King of the Land” at No. 3 (3.6 million views),  the drama “D.P.” season two at No. 5 (2.9 million views) and the fantasy “The Uncanny Counter: Season 2: Counter Punch,” which debuted at No. 7 (2.2 million views). The Turkish drama “The Tailor” made two appearances on the chart, with season two at No. 2 (4.3 million views), and season one at No. 9 (2 million views). Japan took two spots with the anime titles “Baki Hanma” season two at No. 4 (3.5 million views) and “My Happy Marriage” at No. 6 (2.9 million views). The Brazilian young adult drama “Sintonia” season four took ninth place with 1.8 million views.
